The recent rain and snow has made its way down the River Thames, rapidly filling our reservoir in recent days, two metres to be precise. So much water that we have had to pull the pontoons up and the beach has nearly disappeared. The filling has recently slowed and could stop as the river's flow rate is still variable. But we only need another 1.5 metres to be launching keel boats again!
Exciting times - If we are really good we might get a bit more before Christmas; it's on to top of our wish list.
