RYA YOUTH SAILING SCHEME
RYA STAGE 1
Have fun, get wet, go sailing! An action packed introduction to the sport.
RYA STAGE 2
Develop a range of sailing skills and background knowledge and be well on the way to being a confident sailor.
RYA STAGE 3
At the completion of this stage you will be able to sail in any direction, rig and launch your boat. You are now a sailor not a beginner.

RYA STAGE 4
Develop the skills to sail a double handed boat as both helm and crew. This course focuses on maturity of the sailor and their independence in solving problems ashore and afloat. Achieving this level is the natural entry point for the advanced courses in the National Sailing Scheme.

Improve your helming skills and boat positioning by focusing on manoeuvres from picking up a mooring, anchoring

Everything you need to know to enjoy modern three-sail boats.
RYA START RACING
Enjoyable introduction to Club Racing. Learn boat-handling (race starts, mark rounding, rules of the road, tactics) plus theory and tuning.
RYA PERFORMANCE SAILING
Improve your boat handling and confidence in performance boats, making use of spinnaker and trapeze.
