Bart's Bash Update

We have been delighted by the response to Bart’s Bash on Sunday and are almost reaching capacity for both our morning 11:00 and our afternoon 14:00 race.

We have reached our capacity to accommodate visiting boats so can no longer accept entries from anyone other than Club members.  There are other local venues where you can race, Datchet has confirmed that they still have capacity.

For Club members to race it is very important that you now sign up on the Bart’s Bash website.  When we reach 200 boats in the morning race (currently 170) and 60 boats in the afternoon race (currently 45) we will no longer be able to take further entries.  Priority will be given to those who have signed up on the Bart’s Bash website and in the order of signing up.

To help us manage such a large entry, the morning race will be split into three starts: slow, medium and fast.  Make sure as you sign on that you know which start you are in.  The afternoon race will be split into two starts, an all-comers race and a rookie race.  You can select which you enter when you sign on.

The split of fleets, the timings and class flags for each will be announced shortly and covered on the day.  Please watch out for this announcement.

Looking forward to an epic event,

The team at QM.
