Sailing Times

QMSC will be open for sailing/windsurfing 5 days a week from Wednesday to Sunday. In addition we will be open for 'Windy Mondays and/or Tuesdays' when certain criteria are met (see below). Normal opening hours are:

Windy Monday & Tuesdays

We will aim to open on Mondays and/or Tuesdays if, on the Sunday afternoon before, www.windguru.cz predicts an average of 15 knots or more for each respective day. If we do decide to open, announcements will be made on the Sunday here on our website and on 'QM Announce' (see below).

QM Announce

QM Announce, the automatic email service for Windy Evenings in the summer and for Windy Monday & Tuesdays in the winter can be subscribed to (or unsubscribed from) by going to http://mail.queenmary.org.uk/ , clicking on the QM Announce mailing list name and following the on-screen instructions.

Poor light conditions/inclement weather

Please note that off-water times may be revised in the event of poor light conditions or inclement weather. Windy Mondays & Tuesdays may not be offered if conditions are looking unfavourable.
