Race Team Benefits

It is currently Club policy that there should be no compulsory duties placed on members. However, in recognition of the cost savings acheived through members volunteering to assist with racing, the Club offers significant discounts off membership subscriptions to those members helping on the committee boat. These currently stand at £100 off membership renewals if 4 duties are undertaken and £150 if 6 or more duties are undertaken. Race Officers and their Assistants are awarded average points for the Club races which they run. Anyone interested in assisting on the committee boat for one or more races should contact Phil Dickinson in the office. Phil can be contacted by email, or at the office on 01784 248 881.

Each Race Team will be led by a Race Officer. If you would be interested in learning to be a Race Officer, Phil will be pleased to tell you what would be involved.
