Racing Update Sunday 31st October

25/10/2010

Extending the Alternatives to Protesting: As part of the implementation of the RYA charter by the club, we will be adding an Exoneration Penalty and Arbitration Hearings to the Advisory and Protest hearings already offered.  We encourage all competitors to take the appropriate on water penalty as their first option if they break a rule, but where there is a dispute as to whether a rule was broken, then this offers a fast and friendly way to find out.  See the posters around the club, read the detailed information on the Official Notice Board – or come to a short session after sailing on Sunday 31st October when at 1.30pm Chris Simon, our International Umpire, will explain the process and answer your questions.
