Winter Talk with Simon Rowell - Tuesday 10th March

Have you every wanted to learn how to read the clouds and always end up on the right side of the race course? Then this is the talk for you.

Simon Rowell is a weather expert. Simon was the winning Clipper ‘Round The World’ race skipper in 2002 as well as assistant race director in 2005. He is an RYA Ocean Yachtmaster instructor and was Chief Instructor of UKSA until 2009. Simons in-depth knowledge of weather systems stems form his university masters degree in Applied Meteorology. His great teaching style and tailor made courses will inspire you to spend even more time looking at the weather report (but understanding it) and making it imperative to look at the clouds while racing. This informative talk is a must see for any sailor, if your just starting out or racing round the world.
