Wednesday night talk 7th March - Mark Rushall on Olympic and Paralympic Coaching

The final talk of our winter Wednesday evening series is on the 7th March and will be given by Mark Rushall.  Mark is one of the UK’s leading sailing coaches, a freelance yachting journalist and a talented, highly successful dinghy and keelboat sailor in his own right.  In 2006 Mark was named RYA Coach of the Year after coaching the RYA Skandia Team GBR Paralympic Sonar Team to two successive World Titles.  In between his coaching, writing, professional sailing and other consultancy commitments Mark is currently campaigning an SB3.  Mark says  "For six years, since I've been involved in Skandia Team GBR's Paralympic programme, friends have been asking me what its like to teach disabled people to sail. The answer is still I have absolutely no idea!  However I have been lucky enough to give coaching  support to some of Britain's best athletes in the Paralympic and Olympic classes. I'll do my best to share some of these experiences."
