Welcome to the QM Youth area!

We offer a wide range of opportunities for young members to sail and windsurf at the Club. In this area of the website you will find more information on everything we do, including: a calendar of activity, how to book, information for parents and involvement.


QM activities include:

Youth Group a Sunday afternoon social sailing group

Intro to Racing a group to help learn the racing basics and gain confidence to get on the start line

Race Team a coach supported youth race series

Youth Squad a winter race training programme

Team 15 a windsurfing youth group meeting Saturdays

Sailing School RYA training courses for those aged 8 – 15 years


Parents Youth Group information for parents


In addition to the above we also have organised School activities and we support the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme.

QM Youth Pathway


Youth Membership

There are two types of youth membership ‘Standard’ and ‘Select’


Standard Membership – This is a traditional membership, normally for a boat owner. It can also be used by non-boat owners to gain access to youth group and save 20% on the club’s courses.

  • Annual membership £80 + Boat berth £170

Select Membership – This is an affordable monthly membership giving access to our youth boats to sail anytime the club is open, a bit like the gym. Save 20% on the club’s courses.

  • Price £25 per month (Minimum six month contract)
