Welcome to our page for all things regarding the NSSA:

The NSSA 2023 regatta will be held at Draycote Sailing Club 23rd to 29th July. The event is a great opportunity to meet lots of fellow sailors from around the country. Racing is held each day with fun activities each evening. The sailing club have a campsite on site where most participants stay creating a friendly and welcoming environment.

Queen Mary Sailing Club are hoping to organise a team to attend the 2023 NSSA Regatta. If we get enough interest we hope to send a representative on the first day and last day. If you would be interested in attending as part of this team do register your interest below so we can get organising!

What is the NSSA?

The NSSA is a UK membership organisation for anyone involved with sailing in an educational environment. Concentrating on primary and secondary education. More information can be found at https://www.nssa.org.uk/

Depending on numbers, Queen Mary Sailing Club may send a representative so please register your interest above.

HIRING A BOAT

QM members are able to hire the clubs for the NSSA event. Please register your interest above if you would like to rent a boat.  Due to summer courses we only have a limited number of boats available for hire.  Terms & Conditions for hiring the club boats are as follows....

Eligibility

  • Equipment can be taken off site only by members representing QMSC at events
  • Taking equipment off site is subject to availability of the equipment and at the discretion of the QM Office
  • All equipment hire must be booked with the QM Office prior to collection
  • All equipment must be signed out upon collection and signed in upon return
