Youth Windsurfing

Learn to Windsurf: Stage 1 and 2

The course assumes no prior experience of windsurfing and focuses on RYA Stages 1 and 'Next Steps' Stage 2. At the end of Stage 1, students will know the basics of getting on the water and sailing the board across the wind. During Stage 2 they will learn more practical skills and background knowledge ensuring they are on the way to becoming confident windsurfers.

Improver Windsurfing: Stage 3 and 4

Improver Windsurfing course focuses on Stages 3 and 4. At the end of Stage 3, the student should know how to rig and set up their board for the conditions, sail to all points, and understand the use and limitations of the dagger board. At the end of Stage 4, the student should be confident using a harness and should be able to show basic foot strap technique.
