Ahoy there! You've earned your Stage 3 and want to go sailing with the mates you've made along the way? Come and join Sea Badgers! We will improve your sailing skills through fun games and exercises where you can sail with (and against!) your sailing chums!
Sea Badger Sailing
Sea Badgers is a fun, social opportunity for those aged 9-15 to get on the water with other young members throughout the main season on Sunday afternoons. We aim to offer support both socially and to develop your sailing skills, building a strong community of youth sailors and parents.
Our sea badger sessions are for those who want to gain confidence and have fun on the water. Each session will focus on a skill and will run games and exercises based on that focus.  You'll have had fun competing against your friends and get you ready for more advanced RYA modules.
The sessions are led by the QM Professional Instructor Team with the support of parent volunteers. To join Sea Badgers, participants need to have completed RYA Stage 3.
How to book:
Join as a select member
This option is for you if you are at RYA Stage 2 or above and want access to all the activities listed below and we'll also chuck in boat hire outside of the sessions. A great option to start progressing in either general sailing or racing.

Join as a Standard Junior member
Have you already got your own boat? You'll want to join us as a standard member, but you can also pay a small premium to get full access to all the below activities - an easy way to make friends and sail with like minded kids.

Book as a non-member
It is possible to book as a non-member at the prices listed below, however, the cost of one session is equivalent to the monthly cost of joining as a member. Therefore, we hope you'll join us as a member to gain access to all activities and make good use of the club facilities.
