RS Feva Training

For the first time this year we are offering winter training in RS Fevas. A fun and dynamic double hander - this boat is seeing rapid growth in training and racing throughout the Western Hemisphere. If you'd like to sail with other people this course is for you! We will pair you up on the course so no need to come with somebody. We will look at rigging, tuning and boat handling, including sailing with spinnakers, as well as preparing you to start racing in Fevas. Please note in order to join this session you will need to hold a RYA Stage 4 certificate as a minimum or have equivalent experience. 

All participants need to be current QM club members. Any participant who has not sailed a Feva before is required to chat through their suitability for this training with the QM team prior to booking on.

The winter months can be challenging – in temperature as well as breeze.  All participants need to be happy in sailing in the cooler temperatures and breezier conditions that is likely to be experience.

09:30 - 16:00

Boats need to be partially rigged ready for the days briefing for 0930

Mixture of land based theory/drills and onwater practical sessions
