Womens Watersports Day
You're Invited
Join us to celebrate a Women's Day of water sports activities, taking place on Saturday 27th June 2026 at Queen Mary Sailing Club.
Get on the water with a half-price taster session:
Open to all, the event offers free entry to the club, giving visitors a chance to explore the facilities and meet the team. Designed to appeal to both complete beginners and those with some experience, the day will centre around accessible, half-price taster sessions on the water (Normally £45). Your can try sailing, windsurfing, and wingsurfing under the guidance of experienced instructors, making it an ideal opportunity to learn more about the wide range of activities available at Queen Mary and maybe discover a new hobby!

The event is family-friendly, with a minimum age of eight for on-water participation. We're keen to encouraging individuals, families, and groups of friends to attend and enjoy the day at their own pace.

Beyond the activities on the water, visitors can expect a welcoming, sociable atmosphere onshore. Food and refreshments will be provided by Claire Cooks Surrey, offering a selection of freshly prepared options to complement a day spent by the water. Whether participants are taking part in the sessions or simply relaxing by the water, the event aims to create a laid-back environment where people can unwind and connect.
Womens Day also serves as an introduction to the wider opportunities available at Queen Mary Sailing Club. With its extensive facilities and active membership community, the club is a hub for watersports in the area, and the event provides a chance for prospective members to see first-hand what is on offer.
