Through this course you will see a real improvement in your doublehander helming skills and boat positioning, by focusing on manoeuvres and seamanship decisions. Manoeuvres include sailing backwards, sailing with no rudder or centreboard, anchoring, reefing afloat, recovery of a man overboard and being towed.

Prior to attending this course you should have comfortably mastered the skills learnt on the Level 2 and 3 sailing courses.

Location: Queen Mary Sailing Club

Minimum Duration: 2 days.

Teaching Ratio: 1 instructor to 8 students.

Logbook not included in course price. Certificate included but not guaranteed unless on successful completion of course.
