QMSC offers membership to people wishing to 'Boat' in dinghies, keelboats and catamarans or 'Board' on Windsurfs, Wind-foils and Wing-foils.

Standard membership covers the use of all shore and water facilities by a family or an individual. On joining the Club, a member is eligible to vote at the AGM, and to join in all activities at the Club appropriate to their membership category. The membership year starts 1st April running through to 31st March and members can pay either by Direct Debit (DD) or Paid in Full (PIF), DD allowing the option to pay over 12 months PIF annual fees are due on 1st April.

  • Open Wed-Sun in the Winter - with extended opening hours when the wind is up

Membership fees can be reduced by volunteering as a Race Officer and completing a number of RO duties

All club members shall have adequate third party liability cover, at least £3M.

Categories and Rates to 31st March 2026:

Full - £44.00 per month

Sailors, windsurfers and wingfoiliers who are 30 years and above in the current year.

Family - £61.00 per month

Covers the use of all shore and water facilities by a full member, their partner and all children under the age of 18 years in the current year.

Junior - £16 per month

Covers the use of all shore and water facilities by a person who is under the age of 18 years in the current year (non voting).

Student - £16 per month

Membership for those in full-time education over 18 years of age.

Crew Pass - £25 per month

Available to Full or Family members with boats to provide full facilities to an unnamed adult crew.

Crew - £25 per month

Members who are 30 years and above in the current year and who will not normally be taking the helm when sailing. Usually linked to a boat and or full member.

Young Adult - £16 per month

Members between the ages of 18 and 30 who are not in full time education

Social - £5 per month

Covers the use of shore side facilities by a person who has attained the age of 18 years in the current year (non-voting).

 

Berthing and Board Racks

  • Dinghy Berth £23 per month
  • Keelboat Berth £25 per month
  • Catamaran Berth £26 per month
  • Windsurfing Secure Rack: Large £23 per month
  • Windsurfing Secure Rack: Standard £19 per month

Discounts are available for members who assist with Club Racing and are based on the number of days in the membership year during which assistance is given. Click here for more details 

Member Guest 

At Queen Mary Sailing Club we warmly welcome guests of our members. A member is allowed six guest passes per year, may bring no more than two guests on any single day, and a guest may use the club’s facilities a maximum of three times in a year (no matter who invites them). Club racing is reserved for members and a guest can participate one time per calendar year.

Whether hosting friends, family, or overseas visitors, members are encouraged to share the enjoyment of our Club’s facilities in a safe and responsible manner. To ensure a positive experience for all, the following Guest Policy applies:

Eligibility to Bring Guests Reserved for our fee-paying non-temporary members and honorary life members are permitted to invite guests to the Club, and they are known as the host member.

Guest Registration all guests must be registered in advance via this online Guest Registration form, which is found on the Club website.
