ILCA Youth Open Training
Age 15-20 years old and looking for a new challenge?
If you've outgrown out younger youth race training and have been racing an ILCA 6/7, this is the training weekend for you. Open to all aged 15-19 years old and non-members/members alike. A chance to get two full days of training with our ILCA specific coach - Hannah Golton. We will cover advanced boat handling and ILCA specific techniques with a racing focus leading into race training exercises. We hope to finish the weekend with a mini-series to practice everything that has been learnt. These weekends are priced competitively at £120 for two full days of training for a non-member. Boat hire for non-members also available at an added price. The weekend is free for Young Adult Select members at QMSC.
29er Youth Open Training
QMSC has the capacity to run youth open training weekends for 29ers too. These weekends run on demand so please do email Hannah at chief.dinghy@queenmary.org.uk to register interest.
ILCA 6/7 Youth Open Training
An opportunity for teenagers to receive excellent coaching in the ILCA 6/7 (Radial/standard) from our ILCA coach, Hannah. Aimed at age 15-19 years old with a suitable height/weight to sail the ILCA 6/7 with prior racing experience (or prior attendance to QM Race Squad). A great opportunity for a whole weekend of training at a competitive cost for non-members and free for young adult select members.
