RYA Dinghy Assistant Instructor

The Assistant Instructor is trained to assist qualified instructors to teach beginners up to the standard of the National Sailing Scheme Level 2 and the Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 3. The award is specific to the centre where the training is delivered.

RYA Dinghy Pre-Entry Assessment

This is an assessment day - the assessment will determine whether you have the required sailing ability to become an instructor. There is little time on the day for training input - you should have recent sailing experience and fully understand what will be required of you on the day.

RYA Dinghy Instructor

The 5 day RYA Dinghy Instructor course is ideal for those who wish to use their sailing skills to teach and enthuse others in the sport by becoming an RYA Dinghy Instructor but already have all the pre requisites for the course.

RYA Advanced Endorsement

The course covers performance boat handling, spinnaker handling, 5 essentials coaching and use of powerboats for coaching.On successful completion through continuous assessment, and possibly a theory test, your Instructor award will be endorsed by the RYA..

RYA Racing Instructor Endorsement

The course includes the organisation of club racing, preparation and management of the Start Racing course and instructional techniques afloat, including the use of race training exercises.On successful completion through continuous assessment, your Instructor award will be endorsed by the RYA.

RYA Sailfoil Instructor Endorsement

The first week we have an RYA Sailfoil Instructor Training Week running the 7-10th May (Tues-Fri)

The second week we are running the endorsement on the 13-16th May (Mon-Thurs)

Each course is £415.
