If the RED FLAG is flying above the club house - Please see a duty officer before going afloat. A red flag flown on the Club flagpole signifies a strong wind warning. When the red flag is flying only experienced sailors should attempt to sail; less experienced sailors should not go sailing or should return to shore immediately.

Select - Laser
To book a laser, you should have previous experience of sailing a laser. Alternatively, please book onto 'Laser Coaching', 'RYA Start Racing' or a personal tuition session to gain experience in a laser with an instructor first.

Select - Double Hander
To book a double-hander, you should have a personal sailing ability equivalent to RYA Level 3 or above. Please book onto an RYA Level 3 course if you do not have double-hander experience yet.

Select - RS Cat 16
To book an RS Cat 16, you must be signed off by the Sailing Principal or Chief Dinghy Instructor. This can be done by passing the 'Catamaran Conversion' course available to book under Adult Sailing Courses (inclusive for full select members).

Select - RS Aero
To book the RS Aero, you must be signed off by the Sailing Principal or Chief Dinghy Instructor. If you would like to learn to use this boat please contact the office about personal tuition.

Select - RS 200
To book the RS 200, you must be signed off by the Sailing Principal or Chief Dinghy Instructor. If you would like to learn to use this boat please see our 'RS 200/400 Introduction' course under Adult Sailing Courses (included for Select members).
