Keelboat Select Membership
Welcome to Keelboat Sailing and Racing without the time and costs involved in owning your own keelboat!
This unique pay and play membership for keelboating, provides access to a six RS21 Keelboats allowing you to rock up and go! Sailing without the time, costs, management and storage involved in owning your own gear. We call it Keelboat Select!
- £80 per month - Keelboat Select Membership
- £100 per month - Select Multi sport (Go Keelboating, Windsurfing and Sailing)
Further discounts for those under 30 yrs, all agreements subject to a 12 months contract.
Keelboats provide a stable platform for sailing without the physical stress of hiking out or crouching down, reducing stress on back, hips and knees. There is more space in the boat to move around and a different social dynamic. With 3 or 4 people on the boat, the crewing experience can be far more rewarding. And of course, there is no need to wear a wetsuit as you do not get so wet!

- Keelboat Group Coaching

- Keelboat Cups
Upon completing RYA Keelboat Level 1, or if you have experience a QM Keelboat conversion course, you're are invited to join - with the joining fee waived if starting at the end of a course held at Queen Mary. Our Group Coaching is included as a regular programme of training to develop and harness your skills.
Membership grants you access to keelboats, a 20% discount on courses and club activities, and support and advice from our expert team.
Additionally Queen Mary offers a full training packages to complete the full RYA syllabus, keelboating is £30 per month, please see us for more information on this. For multi-sport a minimum skill level is required to start each activity, you may need to complete training or a competency course first.

Keelboat membership options
Select Keelboat memberships are a minimum 12 month commitment with a joining fee of £320, joining fee is waivered when signing up on RYA Keelboat Level 1 course and membership includes RYA Keelboat Level 2.

How to get involved
- Option for Beginner Sailors - RYA Keelboat Level 1 followed by RYA Keelboat Level 2. Courses run over a full weekend learning the basics of sailing and keel boating.
- Options for Experienced Sailor - If you’re an experienced dinghy sailor our Keelboat conversion and skipper training course is the perfect first step. This is an orientation day to show you how the RS21s are rigged and sailed and to sign you off as an RS21 Skipper.
