Youth Group Laser 2


As the coaching is aimed at refining your racing skills, you must already have basic racing experience. The winter months can be challenging – in temperature as well as breeze.  All participants need to be capable of sailing confidently in a moderate breeze (F4), and have the correct clothing to protect against the cooler temperatures.

This coaching is aimed at developing your racing skills, although you do not need to have racing experience, you do need to be able to confidently sail either a Topper or Tera in moderate conditions (F4)

RS Feva Training

Not running in 2021 - Winter training in RS Fevas. We will look at rigging, tuning and boat handling, including sailing with spinnakers, as well as preparing you to start racing in Fevas. Please note in order to join this session you will need to hold a RYA Stage 4 certificate as a minimum

Hi-Fliers: Youth Sailfoiling

The aim of these sessions is to get young sailors foiling. Sailors must hold RYA Stage 4 or Start Race/equivalent experience to take part in these sessions. Please give us a call if you're unsure about your suitability for this training.

All participants are required to be current QM members.

The aim of these sessions is to get young windsurfers FOILING.  Aimed at those planing and comfortably in the footstraps; whether you are going for your first flights, or you’re looking for some more specific coaching. If you are unsure about your suitability for this course please do get in touch.

The all new Winter Windsurfing Development will look at developing skills for those of Stage 3 and above. Whether you’re looking to improve your Tacks & Gybes, getting into the footstraps, nailing down your Carve Gybes or developing your Race Starts; this course will look to keep developing your skills over the winter.
