Learn to Windsurf: Stage 1/2
The Learn to Windsurf course at Queen Mary focuses on RYA Stages 1 of the national curriculum. The course assumes no prior experience of windsurfing. At the en, the student will know the basics of getting on the water and sailing the board across the wind and back.
All of our courses are taught by RYA qualified instructors in groups with a maximum ratio of 6 students to each instructor. Teaching takes place on the water and in the classroom and we move between the two depending on the group, the weather conditions and the requirements of the curriculum.
This course is run over 5 full days during Easter/Summer and 3 full days in May/October half term and last week of the summer.
Learn to Windsurf (9-15yrs): Stages 1/2 (5-day course)
5 day course from 0930 to 1630. A fun and action-packed introduction to windsurfing. This course works towards RYA Stages 1 & 2 of the windsurfing scheme. Please note, this course also includes some activities to build water confidence.

3 day course from Wednesday to Friday, 0930 to 1630
